Bardes Home: Interior Painting

David recently had the paint crew return to his gorgeous Vermont home (which we had painted the exterior of a few years back) to update several rooms with a new color palette.  The rooms that we worked on were northern and western facing which caused them to see a range in natural lighting through out the day.

Our goal was to update the rooms with a more contemporary and natural feel so one by one David and I went through each room putting up color samples and dialing in our choices while the crew worked hard to prep each room paint.  In the end we toned down the guest bedroom and bathroom to make them more relaxing and accented the hallway walls with a very cool shade of Ben Moore's grey, in Regal Select, that changed in appearance through out the day's lighting; at times it had a brown-ish look to it while early on in the morning there was almost of hint of dark purple/black.

All in all a fun job and great end product that showed off Dave's well designed and built home. Thanks for everything Dave!

On a side note thanks again Dave for cooking the entire crew dinner - quite the gracious host!
