Bobrow Home

Jill has an amazing home that sits on the river in Warren.  When she contacted Vermont Pro her home was a stale grey that did not blend well with the surroundings and badly need a new paint job; she wanted something that was a little more sophisticated that blended in with the surroundings.  From here I was able to fine tune a color palette of samples and with an evening to sit on the back deck, drink a beer, and look at the colors on the building we were able to come up with the perfect solution.  The siding was done in "Dusty Dream" and the trim in "Enchanted Eve" all under California paints historic line of colors!

One of my favorite parts of this project is the custom blue color that I came up with for the door, it really ads a touch of class to the house.

Thanks Jill!

Congratulations to Dr. Lehner!

Andreas Lehner (aka Dr. L) recently retired as the principle of Warren Elementary after 30 years.  As a former student of his, many years ago, I can say that he had a great influence on all of us that went through the Warren Elementary school system.  It's only fitting that as he and his wife Mary are traveling abroad in celebration we are under way staining his home.

Thanks again Adreas!

Harwood Union High School

Here a few shots of the newly revamped entrances at Harwood Union High School and Middle School.  The curved entrance required an extensive amount of work as all of the cracked sheet rock was fixed, cinder blocks and metal frame work were heavily scraped and sanded to leave the entrances looking like new.  Once all of the prep was completed the entire place was primed and coated twice with Ben Moore Regal Select exterior paint.  All of the metal was painted with Ben Moore Iron Clad.

 Thanks Ray!

Birds-eye Maple business card!

The new Vermont Pro business card made out of actual pieces of birds-eye maple just arrived, and might I add that they look great in the new Simon Pierce glass holder that my beautiful wife got for me.

Thanks babe!

Edgcomb Barn Staining

Jim and Lexi Edgcomb have a great barn in Warren that recently had a large portion of the siding replaced on it.  Once the siding had been replaced the Vermont Pro team came in to put a coat of stain on it and cap off the project.  The custom colored stain is a mixture of dark brown and a "bleaching grey" look that is very cool.

In the above shot Peter is 65 feet up, harnessed in, meticulously cutting and rolling the peak.

I really like how the above shot came out because you get a feel for all of the great colors and texture of the barn.  Peter and Stefan are staining the new color while Matt is sealing up all of the cut ends.

Flemer House Underway

Last year Ben contacted us in need of help whit his home that has been in the family for many years.  This historic home, which sits in the hear of downtown Waitsfield, is certainly a staple of the community and we are proud to be underway restoring it back to it's original beauty.

In the above image Stefan Vergura is preparing a section of the exterior for lead paint removal.  It is estimated that 80%, or more, of homes in New England, historic and non-historic, are covered in lead paint and many of them are simply in need of a little love and attention to detail.

In Route: Emergency Ceiling Replacement

Matt working hard sanding joint compound for a newly repaired ceiling in the Round Barn's library.  A broken water line led to the Vermont Pro team having to rip out the ceiling, dry everything out, and install new insulation and sheet rock.

Perhaps you're looking for less the traditional!

These eye catching flooring installations are made with tape, and you most certainly have to love the contrast.
