Tufts University - President's House. Part One

Vermont Professional Painting was brought in for our second project with D.H. Bardes, Inc. and the Duffy Design Group to finish and paint a completely renovated apartment for the president of Tufts University. This intensive project had to be completed in one month, which entailed refinishing and painting the eleven room apartment - top to bottom - including extensive sheet rock repair. The clients were thrilled with the dramatic overhaul.
The living room (above) and dinning room walls (below) are painted in a Ben Moore washable flat "Spanish Olive." The ceiling, trim, and bookshelves are painted in Ben Moore "Dove Wing," while the inlay on the bookshelf doors is "White Sand."

The foyer ceiling was skim coated, primed, and coated twice with "White Dove" flat Ben Moore. The trim is painted with "Dove Wing" semi-gloss and the door is Ben Moore "Black," in a high-gloss finish. The walls were prepped with Zinsser Universal wallcovering prior to wallpapering.

The kitchen received a completely new ceiling that was sound-proofed prior to installation. The ceiling is coated in "Cloud Cover" flat, the walls are "Solstice" washable flat, and the trim is "Cloud Cover" semi-gloss.
More images from this project coming soon!
