VT Pro's New Carpentry Division

For several years Vermont Pro has provided many of our painting clients with a very detailed carpentry service that has ranged in scale from replacing siding and windows, to sheet rock installtion, deck building, and more.  Now that 2012 is upon us, we at Vermont Pro proudly announce the launch of our Carpentry Division, which will work closely with our Painting Division and help to provide our clients with even more exceptional service!

The project below is a prime example of Vermont Pro construction work that we are very proud of:

Barbara and Ralph had a large open space above their garage that was begging for a great studio apartment. Prior to getting underway with layout and framing, Vermont Pro had to replace the barn doors on the front with a nice double pane Marvin window.

This very detailed project entailed planning the layout, framing, reinforcing supports, insulating, and installing a fireplace and chimney. Vermont Pro subcontracted Kevin Collins Electric for the electrical work. Richard Pignatello, a local plumber who we had worked with before, was brought in to handle heating and plumbing. Arron Fournier, of Frosted Fern Mosaics, laid the brickwork around the fireplace.

Once our subs completed their work, Vermont Pro continued with flooring installation, tiling the bathroom floor and shower, building the wet bar, trimming out doors and windows, and fixture installations. The entire project was capped off with a great paint job.

Vermont Pro installed the backerboard for the bathroom flooring.

Carson Gazley and Vermont Pro president, Francis Faillace, partnered on the framing of the bathroom and main wall for the wet bar.

In order to utilize the space above the bathroom, we installed a sleeping loft, equipped with plush carpeting, custom lighting, a reading nook with built-in desk, and space for a king size bed.
Thanks Barbara and Ralph!
