Make the most of your bathroom. Tolchin take two.

Marty and Susan had us back to their Vermont condo to remodel Susan's bathroom on this go around.  Susan had very specific bold red wall-paper that she had always wanted to put up, consider it done!

But first the 1980s condo had to be complete stripped down, framing re-done, and insulated properly, and than we can put up the wallpaper; in addition they received new plumbing, sheetrock, new floor tile, new bathroom tile, new fixtures, and new trim.

Unfortunately this is what it looks like when you loose the working shots and have to retrieve them online.

Shower Door Install: VT Pro Constrction

Having recently completed a full bathroom renovation for Marty and Susan this past fall, they decided to have us back to install a nice shower door, which would help show off the beautiful Travertine stone tiled (natural stone) shower walls.  In the images below Mike is working away to prep and finish off the door installation.

Planning note: When considering your next shower door rain guard, which is a filmed coating over the interior surfaces that repels water and does not leave a streaky residue, is worth every penny.

Isles Bathroom Remodel

Chris and Betsy have an older Vermont farm house that was in need of a bathroom remodel.  When they came to the Vermont Pro Construction team they were interested in an extensive overhaul top to bottom, with one goal .... a classy southwestern inspired bathroom.  Done!

The bathroom was completely gutted and turned into a thing of beauty.  Over the course of the project a new ceiling height was projected, new duct work and insulation was installed, new subfloor laid ... complete with radiant heating, and freshly sheet-rocked.

Isles .... continued

The customer had great tastes and not a single part aspect of this project went overlooked.  From the special order terra-cotta floor tiles to custom order victoria and albert bath this project oozed class!  The tub certainly deserves a special note as it is quite the work of art.  The Ravello Tub, by Victoria and Albert, is a volcanic limestone tub that is designed to be light weight and retain heat three times longer than a porcelain or cast iron tub.

Since completing the project the customers have told us how much they love the bathroom, and we at VT PRO look forward to them enjoying it for many years to come.  Thanks Chris and Betsy

Tolchin Bathroom Remodel

Marty and Susan have a great place right on the mountain at the Bridges Resort that was in need of a remodel; dated wallpaper, cheap vanity, tiny plastic shower insert, and nasty tiles left them needing the VT PRO touch.  We set out to completely demo the bathroom, stripping it right down to the studs, and rebuild looking to improve with a more contemporary feel, increase the efficiency of the heating, water pressure, and insulation.

The final product included new framing, new insulation, a custom poured base/shower, new plumbing, new electrical, pebble floored shower base, Vermont slate floor, and topped off with French White walls and Linen White trim.

Thanks Marty and Sue!  We look forward to you enjoying your new bathroom.  Here are a few more action shots from the project.
