Lila and Family (takes 1 & 2)

The M. family was in need of some interior painting, which included their daughter Lila's bedroom. Lila was excited because she was able to select these great colors for her room. It's always fun to see the different color palettes that our clients choose and how reflective of their personalities they are. Thanks Rebecca and Anson!

Take 2: This past February GMP Painting returned to help Rebecca and Anson give the living room a whole new look. Apple Spice Red in Regal with an EggShell Finish that was complimented by a pale tan trim. As you can see the end result, accompanied by the green furniture, made for an elegant, rich, and warm look that was incredibly inviting.

Drew's Room Gets a Makeover

The family ended up heading to the Caribbean for a quick get away which gave the Green Mountain Paint Team a chance to get in and spice up Greg and Sheryl's oldest sons room. As you can see the previous color was in need of some help. The son wanted the room to feel larger so we went with Faded Denim walls and a Nova Scotia Blue accent wall (two shades darker than the Denim). Thanks Guys!

Sheryl and Greg

Sheryl and Greg have three wonderful children and a great home that was lacking a little contrast. Unfortunately for them prior to moving into the home every wall was painted Navo White, which is a very neutral color (almost dirty looking white) that doesn't age to well. The family wanted liven up the house and ad some character to the different rooms. We are currently in the process of transforming several rooms in the home, but I wanted to share some of the work that is being done.
Yellow with a hint of orange was our suggestion, because the hallway lacked a little natural light during the day and in the evenings was dim. The hint of orange would help compliment the wood work while adding some warmth in appearance. After painting five different sample yellows (with various amounts of orange in them) the family choose "Yellow Rain Coat" to be done in Ben Moores Natura Paint (a Latex NO VOC), perhaps one of the most family friendly paints currently on the market.
