Green Mountain Professional Painting is now a certified lead inspection and removal company according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). If you have a home that was constructed before 1978, lead dust and lead-based paint pose a serious health risk to young children, pregnant women, and anyone who comes in contact with it. Across the nation lead poisoning often goes misdiagnosed as symptoms of ADD, ADHD, and various learning disabilities in young children (including reduced IQ). Pregnant women in a lead- based environment can transfer lead to their fetus. In adults, low levels of lead poisoning can lead to high blood pressure, hypertension, and a decrease in sexual performance.

Big Picture Restaurant

The Big Picture Theater and Restaurant recently closed down for three days to allow the Green Mountain Pro Paint team to come in and do what we do best. The ceiling and entrance was in need of newly taped sheet-rock seams and spot patching. A fresh coat of primer, two coats of ceiling color (Dove White), and two coats on the walls (Seam Foam Green) were applied and the crew finished on time. The restaurant now looks great and is ready for business.

The Inn at the Round Barn

The Round Barn, perhaps one of Vermont's most iconic establishments, was in need of a new paint job and GMP Painting was their choice. The front of the building had to be completely stripped down and repainted. With historical siding dating back to the 1800's each individual board had to be manicured so as not to destroy any wood while removing the old paint. Furthermore, the building is surrounded with gorgeous flower beds that GMP Painting carefully protected. We have already received new customers through Tim's referrals. Thanks Tim and AnneMarie!
